Allen Hartman
Chief Executive Officer
Al Hartman (Allen R. Hartman) is the President and CEO of Hartman vREIT XXI. With a career starting in 1978 in home improvement sales, Al developed a proprietary investment strategy known as the “Hartman Advantage” by 1983. He gained significant experience in the late 1980s and early 1990s, acquiring around 20 foreclosures that transformed into stable cash-flowing assets.
Since founding Hartman, he has sponsored over 25 programs and managed hundreds of millions in assets. Over his 40-year career, Al has continuously refined his investment strategy, leading a committed team to provide value for nearly 6,000 investors.
Beyond his professional achievements, Al is actively involved in community service, supporting various faith-based initiatives and serving as a Deacon at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. In his personal time, he enjoys sharing the message of Jesus Christ and spending quality moments with his family.
Margaret Hartman
Chief Operations Officer
Margaret Hartman is the Chief Operating Officer at Hartman Properties, where she oversees the company’s day-to-day operations. A graduate of Texas A&M University, she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Honors and Finance in 2017.
Margaret began her career at Hines, quickly advancing from Analyst to Senior Analyst, where she honed her skills in real estate investment and analysis. She then joined Hartman Income REIT (now Silver Star REIT) as an Investor Relations Associate, where she managed shareholder communications with investors.
In 2023, Margaret joined Hartman vREIT XXI as COO, bringing her extensive experience and strategic insight to the role. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys traveling and cherishing moments with her family.
Analilia Esquivel
Senior Property Manager
Analilia Esquivel is a dedicated Senior Property Manager at Hartman Properties, where her journey began as an Administrative Assistant in 2020. With a strong academic foundation from Texas A&M University, where she graduated with a degree in Biology, Analilia has quickly advanced in her career, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.
Originally from Austin, TX, she now resides in San Antonio, where she enjoys binge-watching her favorite shows and traveling with her husband. Analilia is passionate about community service, actively educating others on the critical importance of blood donation, reminding everyone that just one donation can save three lives. Looking to the future, she hopes to start a family and explore the world, sharing her love for adventure and making a positive impact wherever she goes.
Ami Figg
VICE PRESIDENT OF LEASING
Ami Figg is a seasoned real estate professional with over 15 years of experience in commercial leasing. Currently serving as Vice President of Leasing at Hartman Properties, she excels in managing leasing strategies, optimizing tenant relationships, and driving portfolio growth. Ami has previously held senior leasing roles at Silver Star Properties and NAI Partners, consistently achieving exceptional results in commercial leasing.
Ami’s career is defined by her dedication, strong work ethic, and a deep understanding of the real estate market. Her ability to connect with clients and exceed expectations has made her a trusted leader in the industry. In 2022, nominated by her peers, Globe St. Real Estate awarded her as a Woman of Influence National Winner.
Outside of real estate, Ami is trained in Krav Maga, and a professional operatic soprano having sung with the Houston Grand Opera since 2001. She is passionate about her church, St. Martin’s Episcopal, where she serves as a Lay Eucharist Minister and dedicated member of the Shepherds Guild, the Order of Saint Luke, and the Parish Choir. She is most passionate about her twenty-seven year marriage to her husband, Don, sharing an adventurous spirit for traveling the world, pursuing longevity, vibrant friendships, and healthy cooking. They have two sons together, Joshua and Josiah.
